This is a 3 axes servo controlled automatic system for thickness measurement and data acquisition system. It consists of Grade 0 granite surface plate offering inspection area of 500 X 400 mm. A fixture is provided for holding the paper. A depth probe ,incorporating high precision linear encoder, is attached to the Z axis. This probe then moves to the pre-programmed coordinate points, travels down to measure thickness and reverses back based on force feedback.
